Celebrating Jan Kaczmarek’s Academy Award Nomination!
This was so exciting! Dear friend and a phenomenal composer Jan Kaczmarek won a 2005 Oscar for best score. But I am getting ahead of myself. First he got his nomination for the music he wrote for “Finding Neverland” with Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Dustin Hoffman and I threw him a big celebratory party. We had a live concert of Jan’s beautiful music and the audience had tears in their eyes. Jan was in top form and we all anxiously anticipated the upcoming Oscars. The whole Kaczmarek family was in attendance as were many of Jan’s Hollywood colleagues and great time was had by all.
